Who We Are
Versado Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to the design and implementation of community and economic development programs that leverage synergistic partnerships, localized capacity building, intelligent philanthropy, and sustainable, equitable practices.
How We Started
Versado Foundation was founded alongside Versado Training (our for-profit sister company) as both a commitment and means to create positive social impact.
Zachary Barricklow, co-founder of Versado Training and President of Versado Foundation, explains, “We didn’t want to wait until we achieved a certain level of success as a corporation and then start thinking about how to give back. We wanted global and community engagement to be an integral part of our values, decisions, and goals from the very start.”
Versado Training began contributing a portion of its profits to the foundation each year. In turn, the foundation was used to spark dialogue, empower service, and fuel philanthropic giving among Versado Training employees. Today, in addition to our program development offerings, we continue to carry out the philanthropic mission of our sister corporation, including maintaining the Versado Training Employee Philanthropy Program.
What We Do
Versado Foundation is dedicated to the design and implementation of community and economic development. Specific services provided to partners in this mission include support for strategy and planning as well as implementation.
Additionally, Versado Foundation continues to partner with our sister corporation, Versado Training, to maintain the Versado Training Employee Philanthropy Program and to help connect corporate expertise and resources with opportunities to serve socially disadvantaged populations.

Our Partners & Beneficiaries
Versado Foundation has the privilege of working with a variety of academic, social enterprise, and non-profit entities across the globe.
Some of our partners are small, grass-roots organizations, while others are large and international.
Versado Training Employee Philanthropy Program
Since its inception, a portion of partner profit from Versado Training has been set aside for Versado Foundation. Among other services, the foundation manages the Versado Training Employee Philanthropy Program which was created to spark dialogue, empower service, and fuel philanthropic giving among Versado Training employees. The program includes funding and support to help employees maximize their impact on the communities and causes of their choosing.
Employee Philanthropy Fund
Each eligible Versado Training employee can make recommendations for Versado Foundation’s board to allocate up to $500 annually to the 501(c)3 organization of their choosing.
Employee Matching Fund
Personal funds contributed by eligible Versado Training employees to Versado Foundation will be matched 1-to-1 up to $2,000 per calendar year by Versado Training. These funds are then available for the employee to recommend for contribution to the 501(c)3 organization of their choosing.
Employee In-Kind Contribution
Versado Training may support eligible employees in contribution of donated goods and services to a 501(c)3 organization of their choosing. This could be goods purchased and donated, services purchased and donated, or services provided pro bono.
